The name of Buddha is better known by its followers rather than the books compiled in the subject related with educational courses named history.
There was something in Buddha not essentially needed to define apart from the fact that he live his life dedicated to just one thing life . it could also be in plants and the life when seen in static objects also was respected adorned by Buddha.
No matter of discrimination between lord Buddha and Bhiku rahul apart from the fact the one was lord and the other the follower Both have the same concept and humanity in their hearts . We have not seen Buddha but the real life image of someone similar could be admired and seen today also in Buddha Gaya. Saint Bhiku Rahul. His compassion prompted him to undertake many projects to alleviate suffering of people ,like building medical centers, guest houses,temple,library,housing
Bhikkhu Rahul feels that illiteracy has its roots in social backwardness. He also thinks that if meaningful education can be given to these under privileged children, many evils can be removed from the society in a phased manner and they would be able to reach a state of stable self-sufficiency.Its schools are run entirely on private and individual donations.
As the Society does not have any regular and reliable means of support, it appeals to you all for whole-hearted donations so that Bhikkhu Rahul’s literacy program can be sustained and continued. Every penny of your donations would be spent cautiously, wisely and most economically. Your money will directly help in the literacy of those for whom otherwise it would be an impossibility. Or you can sponsor repeated yearly education of an individual child just for INRS. 12000/- a year. Your money will be spent for school attendance fee if the child is not from the village where Vajra Bodhi’s free schools are running, on school books, for the paper and pencils for school work, towards payment of occasional medical expenses (such as the cost of immunization), for snacks during school time and on clothings. Should you choose to sponsor a child for a year or longer you will be sent a photograph and progress information about the child whose education are being funded by you.
